Xlina’s

Dead by Reed Logan Westgate is the second book in the trilogy,
a twisty tale that never lacks surprises and a work of rich imagination. The
characters, as well as the story, evolve with a lot of action as fights break
out between demons. The writing is balanced, with a measured level of dark
humor, sufficient backstory to make it a standalone, and conflict that takes
the narrative forward to unexpected places. The protagonist, Xlina, and her
bond with Oxivius, the necromancer will keep the readers entertained
throughout the book and intrigued at the same time. Additionally, the
references to actual legends are refreshing and the author deftly uses them to
excite the imagination of the reader.
