The relationships between the characters sparkle through the pages, and I enjoyed the delivery in the intimate first-person narrative voice that alternates between the points of view of Morgan and Max. Laurel Osterkamp is a master storyteller with a unique gift for exploring the psyche and inner worlds of the characters.
