In March 2018, two individuals who hate their countries and
working separately are about to execute their explosive plans for revenge. Raymond
Brickman III is a Southerner and a Confederate who harbors strong hatred
against the United States because of the oppression and destruction suffered by
his people just after the Civil War. His plan is to destroy the most important
weather satellites of the US. Meanwhile, Kathy Ann Erickson, also known as
Viktoriya Ratimirovna Popov, hates the Russian government, which is behind the
death of her family during the war in Afghanistan. She designs an intelligent
plan to ignite a nuclear war by hacking into the direct line of communication
between the presidents of Russia and the USA. A Russian Spy, Dmitri Smirnov,
might be the only one able to stop a full-blown nuclear war. Teaming with his
friend scientists, Drs. Victor Mark Silverstein and Linda Ann Kipling, who work
at the Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California, he matches wits with
Brickman III and Erickson. Can they succeed in stopping the worst disaster in the
USA and Russia?
Paul Mark Tag’s genre expertise and storytelling skill shine
through this twisty thriller. The characters are rock-solid and vividly drawn,
each imagined with a compelling motivation. Brickman III and Erickson have
nurtured an insatiable thirst for revenge and are out to exact it against two
powerful countries in the world. As the story moves from scene to the next
power-charged scene, the stakes grow higher. This author expertly brings
together different plot points to reveal a conflict that is devastating,
sprinkling the narrative with historical hints and building suspense with
aplomb. Retribution Times Two is the
perfect read for readers who enjoy well-crafted, fast-paced, and suspenseful
spy thrillers that feature intrigue and unforgettable characters.
