In More, More, More by Clint Arthur, power, espionage, and passion collide against the chaos of one of history’s most dangerous financial weapons: inflation. Meet Jack Powers, a street-smart kid from Alphabet City who rises to the heights of Wharton and Wall Street—only to be pulled into a covert Cold War mission that could topple nations. The story traces his life from childhood, spent squatting in Alphabet City, through his formative years in the city’s rough neighborhoods, to his never-ending quest for the American Dream—aiming for admission into Wharton Business School, excelling in wrestling, and navigating complex relationships between love and ambition. Now, as a Naval Intelligence officer and CIA attaché, Jack faces a deadly game where money becomes the ultimate weapon. From the opulent streets of Rome to the treacherous waters of Spain, he battles ruthless billionaires, double agents, and merciless killers. But his entanglement with Svetlana, a seductive and dangerous woman whose allegiance is uncertain, could either make or ruin his journey. With global stakes and secrets at every turn, Jack must decide how far he’s willing to go for victory and who he can truly trust in a world where betrayal is the deadliest currency.

What struck me most about this thrilling book is the deft and sophisticated plotting. You are never sure where the story will go, yet you keep suspecting that the next big thing could happen, and many exciting things do. This work is one of the best things I have read on espionage, and Clint Arthur skillfully captures the social and economic threads of the time to create plot points that are engaging and conspiracies that keep readers on the edge of their seats. The narrative pulsates with action, and the first-person narrative voice is ingeniously executed. Arthur’s characterization is stellar, and readers will enjoy Jack, a strict, resourceful, and ambitious character. His journey is driven by an intense desire to succeed, fueled by the philosophies of Ayn Rand and a visionary outlook on wealth, love, and personal power. More, More, More features superior storytelling, sophisticated characters, and stellar plotting. It's an exhilarating ride packed with action and unpredictable moments.
