At times, it feels like a dream, but it doesn’t lack the realism that makes the story a compelling read. The characters are believable, emotionally and psychologically rich, and the authors write their humanity with intelligence. The novel’s strength is the vision it offers readers and its believable characters. These authors knit the characters and the plot into one cozy pullover of a book offering the perfect escape for fans of women’s fiction with strong themes. Skye Stanton Gold and Lucia Grace handle women’s rights and their humanity more fully than any other novelist I have read.
